Like you, our team at NewsGator has been terribly concerned about all of the destruction and pain the ongoing wildfires across Colorado are causing our friends, families, and associates.

We’re committed to help.

We’ve set up a Crowdrise campaign that’s designed to have Colorado companies commit to match individuals’ contributions to aid the victims. Please click here to check it out.

Many of you know Brad Feld of Foundry Group; he’s on our board and is an investor – and a big supporter of this initiative. NewsGator, with the generous support of Brad Feld and Amy Batchelor and their Anchor Point Fund, is kicking off this campaign with a $20,000 matching grant.

We’d love your help to make two things happen:

  1. Get Colorado companies to commit a total of $1 million matching funds to individual donations.
  2. Get as many Colorado companies involved as possible.

To get started, click on “Start a Fundraiser” on this page (or just click here) and follow the simple steps to get your Company’s Team Page live. It'll take you no more than five minutes from start to finish.

Once your fundraising page is live click the “Ask for Donations” button on your page so that you can message your employees, friends, family, and other CO companies to donate.

You can create a team page for donations without committing to match – but I hope you’ll match what you can. That’s where the leverage kicks in….

Jamie Van Leeuwen, Senior Advisor to Governor Hickenlooper, commented on our efforts. "We want to thank NewsGator for their generous support and helping those affected by Colorado's wildfires. Governor Hickenlooper is grateful for the overwhelming response to provide relief to the people of this state."

Thanks for joining in to quickly double the impact thousands of individuals want to make to Help Colorado Now!

Any questions, please ping me back by any media, any time.
