Message from NewsGator Customer Care

I’m quite thrilled to be writing this blog post, introducing myself as NewsGator’s VP of Customer Care.  While I have been at NewsGator for three years and will continue providing executive oversight for product development and support, I am excited to take customer care at NewsGator to a whole new level.   We will continue to offer the absolute best in client services, technical support and customer training.  In addition, we will be providing our customers with highly personalized consulting to help them achieve success in implementing enterprise social computing initiatives. 

 

Social computing in the enterprise is not a commodity. A successful deployment requires careful consideration of business objectives and cultural impacts.  An appropriate analogy would be the challenges encountered throughout the last decade when introducing agile product development methodologies.  While choosing the right technology is important, it is equally critical to understand the cultural shifts required of any organization that wishes to profoundly change the way people work and interact.   

 

Social computing encompasses a broad spectrum of tools and technologies and we are excited about leading our customers through what can be a very complex web of concepts and choices.  We already develop and deliver great Enterprise 2.0 products and now we are offering comparable services.
