Of SQL Servers, Clusters and Mirrors

By Leland Rucker, September 27, 2007

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t understand how mirrored Microsoft SQL Servers differ from clustered ones. But even I learned something from a video interview that NewsGator ace database architect Glenn Berry did with Microsoft ISV Development Evangelist Warren Willbee and posted at PodTech.net.

Berry, who besides his association with NewsGator is also part of the University of Denver’s Computer Information Systems faculty, talks about his experiences with SQL Server over the years and new features in SQL Server 2008. Whether you are in the business of web platform technology or not, you might glean something useful from this conversation.
