Top Canadian Law Firm Deploys NewsGator Enterprise Server

By Melissa Risteff, July 19, 2006

Lots of momentum occuring around NewsGator Enterprise Server (NGES). Today we announced that Goodman and Carr LLP, a leading Canadian law firm based in Toronto, had deployed NGES to help the way they disseminate relevant case law information and legal news to lawyers and staff. NGES provides the backbone for getting Lexis-Nexis searches and other external information directly onto personalized group portal sites built on Microsoft SharePoint.

It is vital that our employees have immediate access to the latest research, news and information related to their current cases, clients, and legal and industry issues," said Elizabeth Ellis, partner and chief knowledge officer at Goodman and Carr LLP. "NewsGator Enterprise Server helps provide employees with relevant information in a timely manner and enables the firm to collaborate more effectively. It has provided us with a more efficient and automated process for the distribution of this information, resulting in a more productive work environment at Goodman and Carr."

Read the release or the case study to see more details on what they are doing. Earlier in the year, we featured how Detroit-based Dykema was using NGES and we'll be announcing that several other top law firms are deploying NGES in the coming weeks.

Also worth mentioning that AlwaysOn named us to the AO100, an award that goes to the top 100 private companies.  Check out the release here for more information.
