NewsGator Goes Mobile

The synch story continues ... in case you missed it, today we announced that our Windows and J2ME-enabled mobile readers are in development and will be in beta in a few short weeks.  The Windows-enabled reader comes via an acquisition (along with a cool, free mobile podcatcher, SmartFeed).  The creator of the two apps, Kevin Cawley, a super talented developer and a seasoned mobile pro is joining the NewsGator team to head up future mobile development.

So, both new mobile readers will have full synchronization across the full suite of NewsGator products - anchored, of course, by the NewsGator Online platform. 

In addition, synch for the current HTML-enabled reader is going to be enhanced over the coming months.

RSS anytime, anywhere ... no longer just words ... it is becoming a reality.
